this is julia nunes, she's got over 10 million views on youtube. i've probably watched her 1000 times. she's fun, talented and to me, that's why she has 10 million views. my favorite might be her version of "survivor" by destiny's child...look it up.

I don't know if you've noticed but there are alot of videos on youtube, with ALOT of views. Google noticed the power and the volume of youtube and decided to pay an enormous amount of money for it.

But what about the original artists, and songwriter's of the songs that are covered ad infinitum on the youtube? To me, it's the equivalent of the book in the library. Did Dan Brown get paid for every time The DaVinci Code was pulled from the library?

Now, if Julia Nunes had a can of Coca-Cola sitting behind her in every clip, and she was getting some $ for it, then I agree that Ben Folds (by the way, he's a crazy pianist) should catch some royalties. But, until somebody figures this out, enjoy it while it's "free".
